Welcome to the online manual of procedures for the Children’s Care and Support Services in Barking and Dagenham which includes important links to the Barking and Dagenham Safeguarding Children Partnership website and the online manual for the London Safeguarding Children Procedures. The manual, which is regularly reviewed, continues to develop and provide a rich source of up to date information and procedural guidance.

We are committed to providing services which are underpinned and influenced by research findings and learning from best practice.

The children, young people and families we work with should expect nothing less than this and that our work adheres to the procedures and standards we set.
